Why We March
The Varus March was born from the belief that some parts of history demand more than study.
They demand to be walked, felt and carried.
We march to honour the memory of the XVII, XVIII and XIX Legions.
To remember what was asked, what was endured and what was lost.
Who We Are
We are a small community of individuals.
This project began with a simple idea: to return to the roads where history broke, carrying what we need on our backs.
Our Vision
To build something that grows slowly and honestly.
To create an annual tradition where memory is lived.
Each step we take is a small defiance against forgetting.
Each burden we carry is a small act of remembrance.
